Job Opportunities in St. Lucia for an Experienced and Professional Architect and Civil Engineer
Position: Architect (full-time)
Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
Experience: 7+ years’ post graduate work experience in architectural and interior design of single and multi-storey, multi-unit structures for health care, education, office, commercial and hospitality uses in a tropical setting.
Competencies required: Highly proficient in the use of various software applications for building information modelling (BIM), architectural visualisation, rendering/modelling, project scheduling/management; familiarity with international building codes.
Other relevant training and experience: Urban planning, development of technical documents for tender and construction, technical supervision of the construction of buildings, project management.
Work environment: Combination of indoor office and outdoor settings

Position: Civil Engineer (full-time)
Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor of Science or higher in civil engineering
Experience: Minimum 1 year’s post graduate work experience in engineering will be an asset
Competencies required:
The individual must demonstrate an ability to:

apply principles and practices of civil engineering and other related fields to solve engineering problems,
-
use computer-aided engineering programmes and other computer software programmes not limited to the Microsoft suite such as Word, Excel and Project,
-
visualise 3D objects from two-dimensional drawings,
-
conduct field and other research and analysis to determine causes/causes and recommend suitable options to address them,
-
be resourceful and work efficiently,
-
make clear verbal and written presentations of drawings, plans, research findings and recommendations.
Other relevant training and experience: Can work well within a team structure.
